The 12 Spiritual Bodies

The concept of the 12 spiritual bodies is often associated with certain spiritual and esoteric traditions.

While interpretations may vary, here's a general guide on how you might explore opening up your spiritual bodies through conscious connections:

1.    Self-Awareness and Introspection: Begin by developing a deep sense of self-awareness. Reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Explore your strengths, challenges, and areas for personal growth. This foundational step is crucial for understanding your spiritual self.

2.    Mindfulness and Meditation: Engage in some kind of mindfulness practice and meditation to quiet the mind and connect with your inner self. Regular meditation allows you to go beyond the surface of everyday thoughts, connecting with the deeper aspects of your consciousness. It can be with music or just sitting in quiet. As you start to get more comfortable with this, you will start to hear how loud the mind really is. You can even start to ask, "Who is speaking". I know through the years, I found my mother or fathers voice in the background noise.

3.    Energy Work and Chakra Balancing: Explore practices like Reiki, Qi Gong, or other energy work modalities to balance and align your chakras. The 12 spiritual bodies are sometimes associated with the chakras, and maintaining balance in these energy centers can enhance spiritual well-being. You will feel a "calling" I tell people to start exploring real holistic modalities. Once we start to feel the energy shift, we will be getting monthly "tune-ups" I tell people. Its a game changer and has totally changed my life.

4.    Connect with Nature: Spend time in nature to connect with the natural world. This can help you ground your energy and develop a sense of interconnectedness with all living things, fostering a deeper spiritual connection.

5.    Conscious Relationships: Cultivate conscious connections with others. Engage in meaningful conversations, practice active listening, and nurture relationships that support your spiritual growth. Genuine connections with others can contribute to the expansion of your spiritual awareness. Get off the phone and disconnect from that and choose to connect to humans.

6.    Spiritual Study and Exploration: Read spiritual literature, explore various philosophies, and attend workshops or classes related to spirituality. Expand your knowledge and understanding of different spiritual concepts to enrich your spiritual practice. Ask yourself, "What is your soul wanting now"? You will be amazed at the little chatty chat that comes up and out.

7.    Visualization and Affirmations: Use visualization techniques and affirmations to connect with your higher self and the spiritual bodies. Envision yourself surrounded by light and affirm positive statements that resonate with your spiritual goals. Start to see how you are affected by different places, different people, different jobs, etc. Be real and honest about it.

8.    Dreamwork: Pay attention to your dreams and explore their symbolism.

Dreams are often considered a gateway to the subconscious and can provide insights into your spiritual journey.

9.    Creative Expression: Express your spirituality through creative outlets such as art, music, gardening or writing. Creativity can be a powerful means of connecting with the divine and expressing the unique essence of your spiritual self.

10. Sacred Rituals and Ceremonies: Incorporate sacred rituals or ceremonies into your spiritual practice. This could include rituals for specific life events, all celebrations, or regular practices that honor your connection to the divine. Join groups. Make new friends. Bless your food. Have gratitude everyday. Say hello to random humans. Be kind.

11. Service and Compassion: Engage in acts of service and practice compassion. Helping others and contributing to the well-being of the community can be a profound way to connect with your higher self and the broader spiritual essence of humanity.

12. Alignment with Higher Purpose: Reflect on your life's purpose and align your actions with your higher purpose. Re-evaluate your life and where you are. What do you like? What do you want to change? What do you wish you had more of? What does your soul want more of now? What would bring you more happiness now?

Living in alignment with your spiritual values can deepen your connection to the divine and the 12 spiritual bodies.

Remember that spiritual journeys are highly personal, and what works for one person may not work for another. It's essential to approach this exploration with an open heart, curiosity, and a willingness to adapt your practices based on what resonates with you on your spiritual path.

If you find it challenging to navigate this journey alone, seeking guidance from a spiritual coach, teacher, or practitioner may provide valuable support. They can guide you and give you best practices a school teacher can not.
