“Pushing Through” Isn’t Working Anymore

Dear Soul,

Let’s face it, most of us were taught to push through. I know I was. I was taught to push, force, and grind all the time. Because If I didn’t, then nothing was happening on any level.


The problem is no one shared how much it would affect my soul, mind and body. Did you hear these things too?

  • "Be strong."

  • "Stay positive.”

  • “Oh, come on you got this. Keep going.”

  • Don’t stop now, things will fall through.”

  • “Rest tomorrow.”

  • Oh you have the weekend off, so rest then.”

  • "You’ll bounce back."

When is enough, enough? But when you’re in an identity collapse — these strategies don’t work.Because you’re not just managing a bad day in full-on anxiety or panic attacks and on medication..


You are experiencing a death of self.


The old self is dissolving. The mask you wore no longer fits.And yet… you still feel obligated to pretend you’re okay.


👉 You try to stay busy.

👉 You distract yourself with work.

👉 You numb with food, gambling, drinking excess on weekends or marketing events, scrolling, or people-pleasing.

But inside you feel:

  • Empty

  • Closed

  • Disconnected

  • Lost

  • Lonely

Because your spiritual body is screaming for a deeper kind of healing.

This is not a mindset issue.


This is a soul wound.
